The name Suncamino means “Journey to the sun”.

It is a sense of pilgrimage that resonated with three Capetonian friends with a love for adventure, the outdoors and the ocean.

After working with a distiller in Barbados to develop our signature 8yo blend, Suncamino travelled to sunny Cape Town where our local botanist added the beautiful bouquet of floral botanicals that compliment our rum’s signature notes.

The Suncamino mantra is simple: Bring good company, a bottle of Suncamino, and pick a spot on the map – The rest will take care of itself.
